Gina Schmitz serves as the CTE Grant Supervisor in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) unit of the Arizona Department of Education. In the position, she oversees Grant Specialist that approve CTE Federal Perkins and CTE State Priority grant applications and the Methods of Administration Office of Civil Right Grant Specialist. As a principal, Gina implemented a middle school CTE program. She also served as a Director of Federal Programs. Ms. Schmitz believes in CTE pathways for students.
