Hannah Higgs currently works at the Arizona Department of Education, Career and Technical Education as an Assessment Program Specialist for the Technical Skills Assessments (TSAs). Growing up, she took career exploration classes, job shadowed, and was involved in two Career and Technical Education Student Organizations (CTSOs). She has worked in education for 12 years and 3 years in the private sector in a variety of roles. Her experience inside and outside the classroom brings a unique perspective in helping school staff prepare themselves and their students for the TSAs. As a 5th-generation Arizonan, she is deeply committed to the success of students and believes that CTE plays a vital role in helping them grow into responsible, contributing members of Arizona’s communities.
