Rich Ence, AZ StRUT (Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology) June '21-present I am the Education Manager working with schools across Arizona. We provide resources for hands-on learning for Technology Device Maintenance programs, which we call Techie Labs. We also teach Techie Camps to 6th-8th grade students. We donate refurbished computers to Title 1 schools, refugees, veterans, and other under-served communities. I retired from teaching in May '21 after 16 years of teaching varied CTE courses, (6 years at Maricopa High School, MUSD and 10 years at Dobson High School, MPS.

Teachers will be able to duplicate this lesson in their classroom. AZ StRUT (Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology) will provide all resources for this effective hands-on learning experience. The objective of this course is to introduce the student to computer technology. The student will be able to identify types of computer components and peripheral devices. Upon completion of this course the student will understand computer hardware, peripheral equipment, and related maintenance and security procedures. Students will also be introduced to AZ StRUT’s mission.
