Roxie is an Education Success Specialist, collaborating with teachers across the state of Arizona. She grew up in Nebraska, but has been living in the Arizona sun for the past 5 years. She is a former middle school ESL educator and reading specialist. Roxie is passionate about supporting educators with free tools and providing critical life skills to students. She lives in Phoenix where you can usually find her hiking, cheering on the Phoenix Suns, or reading a book by the pool.

Learn how to empower high school students to make informed, goal-oriented decisions about their future with the no cost, standards-aligned digital resources we provide to teachers. In this session, teachers will gain access to their account, preview the digital resources and lesson plans and learn how to integrate EVERFI’s courses in their classrooms to enhance current curriculum and student engagement. Great for educators of grades 8-12. This session is presented by EVERFI.

This session will move past financial education basics to teach students about the risks and benefits of investing their money. Through EVERFI’s standards-aligned digital courses, students can use real-life simulations to gain an understanding of sustainable investing approaches to make better financial choices. Teachers will use this time to gain access to their free EVERFI account, preview the digital resources available through EVERFI, and learn how to integrate the resources into their classrooms to increase student engagement and exploration. Ideal for teachers of grades 9-12. This session is presented by EVERFI.
