Outreach Director
Aimee Olmedo is the Outreach Director at Rosendin Electric, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona. She was a high school teacher for 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Arizona in 2015. As the Outreach Director, Aimee is addressing the workforce gap in the construction industry by exposing junior high and high school students to the career opportunities in the trades with a focus on the electrical industry. When she is not working, Aimee enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, kayaking, and cooking.

This hands-on workshop will demonstrate to participants how to measure, bend, cut, and install a 90-degree conduit bend. This workshop is meant for beginners with little to no experience in bending conduit. Session will take you through the whole process electricians do daily in the field and includes using hand tools and power tools. All materials and tools will be supplied. REQUIREMENTS: Long pants, t-shirt, long hair pulled back. Close-toed shoes are a must. You will not be allowed to participate if you arrive in flip flops or sandals. Please come prepared.
