  • Education and Training

Tutoring can be an effective and meaningful work-based learning experience for both Education Professions and Early Childhood Education (ECE) students. In this session, you will learn how to structure tutoring-based field experiences, coordinate with elementary schools, access resources to upskill tutors, and more. You will also learn how tutoring can be used as a mechanism to scaffold experiences for students, including constructing and delivering lesson plans, modifying lesson plans for diverse learners, using technology in lesson plans, and creating culturally responsive learning experiences.
