Lisa has been a pediatric critical care/emergency RN for over 35 years. She has dedicated her career to caring for critically ill and injured children. Lisa joined Phoenix Children’s Hospital in 1990. During her time at PCH she has held several roles as a bedside RN, supervisor, and clinical educator. Lisa currently works in the trauma program as the Trauma Outreach Educator. Her role involves training prehospital and hospital personnel throughout Arizona in the care of critically ill and injured children. Lisa also manages Phoenix Children’s Stop The Bleed program which instructs both healthcare professionals and lay people how to care for a person experiencing a life threatening bleeding emergency. Lisa is also a nurse ethicist and she is currently the Vice Chair for Phoenix Children’s Bioethics committee and does ethics consults for patients at all of the Phoenix Children’s facilities.
