The Leveraging Experiential Learning presentation will focus on the research of multi-modal learning, experiential learning, and learning style preferences of law enforcement officers. Because every person learns differently, it is important for instructors to understand learning style preferences, as well as the benefits of multi-modal and experiential learning pedagogy. Multi-modal learning incorporates different communication modes Presented through realistic scenarios, experiential learning increases student confidence by giving them hands-on experience in the "how."
