Kevin Johns is a Tucson native, musician, audio engineer, and independent DJ/business owner with over 12 years of experience in the industry. Kevin is not your average event DJ! He has brought a unique touch to the disc-jockey industry through his passion for music, music history and theory, and his knowledge and inclination for effortless and seamless song transitions that keep any crowd engaged at any event. Kevin graduated from Catalina Magnet High School in 2009, was a member of the University of Arizona’s marching band (2011-2012), as well as attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Science (CRAS) in 2021. Kevin has held many residencies throughout the Tucson and Phoenix Area over his years of DJing. A highlighted residency includes being the University of Arizona Athletics DJ from 2016-2018!

*Workshop 3:30-5pm and Social hour and music application 5:00-6:00pm. The session will include a social and educational mixing session with Kevin Johns, aka DJ E.M.S (Eclectic Musical Soul), and presentation where attendees will learn current trends in music genres and mixing/audio engineering, while addressing some STEM concepts and current industry trends in the process. *ALL Music and Audio Production program teachers in the house!
