Andrea Yancey Goodwin is a Technical Standards and Technical Skills Assessment Program Specialist in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at the Arizona Department of Education. With over 17 years of teaching experience, Andrea has a diverse background in both traditional and career-focused education. Prior to her teaching career, Andrea worked in graphic design, which gave her valuable industry experience that she later brought into her classroom. Known for her strong work ethic, she is dedicated to both student achievement and supporting her colleagues. Her current role allows her to apply her expertise to assist business and industry professionals in the creation of technical standards and as a facilitator to teachers in creating assessment items that enhance CTE programs across Arizona, continuing her passion for shaping the future of education.
