Adela Millan is a workforce development professional with extensive experience connecting students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals in the construction trades to sustainable career pathways. As the Apprenticeship Coordinator at the Arizona CTE Curriculum Consortium, she leads statewide initiatives that strengthen the talent pipeline in high-demand trades, with a primary focus on Electrical and Carpentry. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Adela has worked in both public and for-profit higher education institutions, focusing on employer recruitment and student professional development, including internship, externship, and apprenticeship programs. Her work consistently supports strong employment outcomes, including high placement and competitive salary rates for program participants. Adela plays a key role in the design, development, and implementation of the Arizona CTE Curriculum Consortium’s registered apprenticeship programs, collaborating closely with school districts, employers, and state partners to bridge the gap between education and employment. These programs are registered with and recognized by the Arizona Office of Apprenticeship, ensuring students receive high-quality, industry-recognized training and certifications. In addition, Adela has worked with and partnered alongside ARIZONA@WORK, supporting students in using continued education as a pathway to higher employment and long-term career growth. Known for her ability to build strong cross-sector partnerships, she is deeply committed to expanding access to skilled trades careers and advancing opportunities for students and early-career professionals across Arizona.
