Firefighter
Kaylee Kriwer grew up in Prescott Valley and moved to the valley officially in 2016. After graduating high school, she played two years of college basketball in Glendale while getting her Associate's Degree. Kaylee was inspired to pursue a career in firefighting by her father, who is also a firefighter. In May 2023, she earned her EMT certification and passed the CPAT. She then began applying to various fire departments across the Valley. In October 2023, she was given the opportunity to participate in Chandler Fire’s Intern Academy, a six-week program. Following that, she was selected to join their official fire academy, which began in January 2024. After 16 weeks of intensive training, Kaylee graduated and is now a full-time career firefighter and EMT. Her additional certifications include Fire Inspector, Fire and Life Safety Educator, and HazMat Awareness and Operations.
