Director of Operations Leader

Christopher Burton, a lifelong resident of Memphis, Tennessee, is a dedicated and accomplished professional. He was an active basketball and football player at Craigmont High School. After high school, he pursued a Business Administration Associate degree at Southwest Tennessee Community College, later transferring to the University of Memphis. It was at the University of Memphis that Chris decided to pursue his dream of becoming a restaurant operator. After two years at the University of Memphis he completed his Bachelor’ in Business Administrations After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree he was selected in the Master’s of Professional Studies Program with a concentration in Human Resource Leadership. During his graduate studies, Chris engaged in leadership organizations such as Toastmasters International, the International Business Student Organization, and the U of M Society for Human Resource Management. He also gained valuable experience through internships at Enterprise Car Rental, the City of Memphis, and the Chick-fil-A Leadership Development Internship Program, where he developed essential leadership, business, and people skills. Chris is now a Director of Operations Leader at Chick-fil-A, continuing to build his career. He is also pursuing an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Tennessee. In his spare time, Chris mentor’s students through the Tennessee Achieves Mentor Program, helping them pursue their career goals. As a Servant Leader, he is dedicated to helping others reach their potential, both in his professional and mentoring roles.
