Janet Wright-Moore is a dynamic leader and advocate for young children, serving as the Phoenix South Regional Director at First Things First of Arizona. With a passion for early childhood education that spans decades, Janet has dedicated her career to shaping the future - one child, one family, and one community at a time. A devoted wife and proud mother of two adult children, Janet has worn many hats in the early childhood field, excelling as a teacher, administrator, trainer, assessor, and coach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and special education and a master’s degree in early childhood administration, equipping her with the expertise to drive meaningful change. Recognized as a thought leader, Janet champions innovation, equity, and continuous improvement, ensuring that all children - regardless of background - have access to high-quality early learning experiences. Guided by her powerful motto, "Different Does Not Mean Deficient," she challenges outdated narratives and uplifts communities, striving to make a lasting impact.
