Valerie Jones is Vice Chancellor for Workforce and Economic Development at Maricopa County Community Colleges, a role she assumed in July 2025. She brings over 25 years of human resources experience, with expertise in leadership, strategy, and workforce development. Previously a Talent Executive at Bank of America, she also served as a Leader on Loan with the Maricopa County Community College District, supporting workforce initiatives in financial services and expanding partnerships and internships. Valerie is a strong advocate for diversity, talent development, and student success, and has held leadership roles with the Hispanic Executive Leadership Council and Arizona’s HOLA chapter. An Arizona native, she holds an Executive MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Arizona State University.
