Valerie Jones, SVP Talent Executive for Bank of America, is currently serving as a Leader on Loan at Maricopa County Community College District, supporting Workforce Development efforts tied to the Financial Services industry. Valerie is working with MCCCD on the development of the Finance/Financial Services ISC/Institute, as well as lending her expertise to partnership development, and growth of internships and partnership opportunities in the Finance sector. Valerie brings more than 25 years of varied human resources experience to her role to include leadership, strategy, and workforce development. At Bank of America, she serves on the Hispanic Executive Leadership Council and is a co-chair for Arizona’s HOLA chapter, the Hispanic Employee Network. She has a passion for diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition and leadership. She enjoys working with job seekers and is committed to supporting students as they prepare to graduate and pursue their first career. For the past 2 years, Valerie has served on the Business School Advisory Board at Grand Canyon University. Valerie is native to Arizona, growing up in the small mining town of Bisbee. She holds an Executive MBA and Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Arizona State University.
