Director of Workforce Innovation
Jill Buschbacher is Director of Workforce Innovation at the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation. She is an economic and workforce development professional with over 20 years of experience in workforce development, business attraction, business retention and expansion, and small business and entrepreneurship services. She has worked in various roles in the Phoenix region at the city, county, and state levels. She has helped develop and implement a range of programs and projects from workforce training grants to business grants and loans to regional events, to community engagement for redevelopment projects. Originally from New Mexico, she is a graduate of New Mexico State University. She is also a Marano Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Sector Skills Academy. She currently leads the foundation’s workforce team and its jobs first initiative, Connect to Work AZ, and workforce collaboratives. She also represents the Foundation on various committees and coalitions. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, biking, and live music. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband and son.
