Sr. STEM Outreach Education Manager

Dawna joined IEEE in 2018, leaving a position as Director of In-district Initiatives for the Rutgers Center for Mathematics, Science, and Computer Education (CMSCE). She began her career as a mechanical engineer with Honeywell International, and she later transitioned to a career in education and taught at the elementary/primary level. Since she left the classroom in 2001, Dawna has coordinated and developed STEM programming for students and educators at higher-education institutions as well as non-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UMass Dartmouth.
