Melissa has spent most of her career helping educators, industry partners, and subject‑matter experts create high‑quality standards, curriculum, and assessments that strengthen teaching and learning. Before joining the CTE team, she led Arizona’s statewide testing contracts, working closely with psychometric and quality‑assurance teams to ensure accurate and accessible materials and at a private edtech company to develop classroom curriculum. Melissa holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from ASU and has experience in all areas of theater, combining technical know‑how with creative versatility.
