Early Childhood Education Teacher
With over 33 years of experience in education, Cathy Bailey-Bagby has dedicated her career to nurturing young learners and supporting early childhood education. Cathy’s education journey began at Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska as a student in the Home Economics Pathway. After obtaining an Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education degree from University of Kearney, she moved to Parker, AZ to teach kindergarten and preschool special education. Cathy later moved to Lake Havasu where she taught kindergarten until 2015, when she began teaching at the high school level. Currently, she shares her passion for child development as a CTE Early Childhood Education teacher at Lake Havasu High School. Cathy became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2020 and maintained her Certification in 2025. She was a member of the AZ K-12 Center’s Teachers Solution Team from 2022-2025. Teaching beyond the classroom, she is an active community member, volunteering at the Lake Havasu Museum of History, where she brings local history to life for children. A proud member of Alpha Delta Kappa, she continues to inspire future educators and advocate for lifelong learning.
