This opening keynote luncheon invites us to reframe workforce readiness through a hopeful, action-oriented lens. Grounded in current hiring data, the session challenges the narrative that young people are unprepared and instead calls our systems to lead with greater intention and alignment. Career and Technical Education is uniquely positioned for this moment. In CTE classrooms and labs, students practice communication, professionalism, adaptability, feedback, and work ethic through real deadlines, authentic performance, and industry expectations. The opportunity before us is to make these skills visible, measurable, and shared across Arizona. Featuring a panel of industry and education leaders, this keynote elevates Arizona’s collective effort to align durable skills and strengthen partnerships.
