Professor

Ashley Jo George is a full-time professor in the College of Arts and Media at Grand Canyon University, specializing in Art Direction, Account Planning Strategy, and Typography. She brings more than 25 years of advertising experience, leading creative teams and producing award winning campaigns, including work recognized by the ADDYs and One Show. Ashley holds a Master of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and is pursuing a PhD in General Psychology with a focus on technology and learning. Her research explores how typographic hierarchy in digital learning environments affects student cognitive load. She is dedicated to designing learning experiences that foster curiosity, independence, and creative problem solving in her students.
