CTE Instructor

Brianne McConnell holds a degree in Journalism and brings a unique blend of professional communications and classroom experience to media education. She spent eight years working in public relations at Pima Community College and the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA), where she was responsible for layout design, reporting, writing, editing, and photography for monthly newsletters and quarterly magazines. McConnell has been in education for 15 years, teaching high school English Language Arts and Journalism at several Tucson-area charter schools. For the past nine years, she has served as the yearbook adviser and Digital Communications teacher at Marana High School, and she also has been the Digital Communications teacher and yearbook adviser at Mountain View High School for the last two years. Her passion lies in helping students develop authentic storytelling skills, strong visual design practices, and real-world communication habits they can carry beyond the classroom.
