John R. Weber is a seasoned Technical Sales Representative with an 18-year tenure at The Lincoln Electric Company, where he supports customers across the state of Arizona with expertise in welding processes, equipment, and technical solutions. Known for his deep industry knowledge and commitment to customer success, John has built a career rooted in both technical proficiency and relationship-driven sales. John’s journey in welding began in high school, where an early interest grew into a lifelong professional path. He went on to earn an associate’s degree in welding and metallurgy, as well later achieved a bachelor’s degree in marketing. A dedicated member of the American Welding Society for over 25 years, John earned his Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential more than nine years ago. His long-standing involvement in AWS reflects his passion for professional development, industry standards, and advancing welding knowledge within the communities he serves. Throughout his career with Lincoln Electric, John has become a trusted resource for welding professionals across Arizona—valued for his technical insight, hands-on experience, and commitment to helping customers succeed in an ever-evolving industry.

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of robotic welding using Lincoln Electric’s Classmate® Robotic Trainer with FANUC® robotics. Attendees will learn core operation, programming basics, and safety while gaining practical experience inside an industry‑standard training cell. In addition to equipment-focused practice, the session also explores robotic welding more broadly, including how automation is transforming fabrication, manufacturing, and modern welding careers. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of both the technology and its role in today’s welding and industrial environments.
