Supervisory Deputy United States Marshal (Retired)
Al Reble is a retired Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal with more than three decades of distinguished federal law enforcement service. He began his career in public safety after graduating from the New Mexico State Police Academy in 1987 and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University in 1991. That same year, he joined the U.S. Marshals Service, where he served from 1991 until his retirement in 2022. Throughout his career, Reble worked across a wide range of operational and leadership roles, gaining extensive experience in recruitment, specialized assignments, and career development within the agency. From 2000 to 2005, he was a member of the elite U.S. Marshals Service Special Operations Group (SOG), where he completed rigorous selection and training and supported high-risk national operations. His long tenure reflects the evolution of the USMS over several decades, and he brings a valuable firsthand perspective on the organization, its mission, and the pathways available to those seeking to serve.
