Jayme Fitzpatrick is a leader in Career & Technical Education since 2005. She earned a Master’s in CTE from Northern Arizona University and a BS in Business Management. Prior to becoming CTE Administrator, Jayme taught Business and Marketing at Deer Valley HS and served as a DECA advisor. Deer Valley Unified School District serves approximately 10,000 high school students across five comprehensive high schools in twenty-one Career and Technical Education Programs along with an additional 25 + programs available to students through the Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC). Ms. Fitzpatrick is a long -time member of both ACTE and ACTE AZ. She is in her fifth year serving as Secretary of the ACOVA board, the Arizona ACTE AZ affiliate for CTE administrators. Prior to serving as Secretary Jayme was also a member-at-large. Jayme was an ACTE National Fellow in 2019 and also served as a fellow’s mentor. Jayme serves as the Marketing committee Chair for ACTE Region V and the Region V Representative in the Administration Division of national ACTE. Ms. Fitzpatrick previously served five years, including the office of President, with Arizona Marketing Educators, another ACTE affiliate. Jayme’s recognition in Career and Technical Education includes 2021 ACTE AZ Administrator of the Year. 2020, ACTE New and Related Services Administrator of the Year for Career Academies, and 2020 Arizona DECA Administrator of the Year.
