Mylynda Koener is a high school educator at Centennial High School in the Peoria Unified School District with more than 30 years of teaching experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education and a master’s degree in Reading and Curriculum Instruction. She currently teaches a four-year sequence of integrated business and AP English courses, blending literacy, leadership, and career readiness, and serves as the adviser for a nationally competitive FBLA chapter. She is also the instructional lead for Coyote Threads, a student-run apparel business that provides students with hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and professional communication.
