Mrs. Ellis, Julie

Director of Career and Technical Student Organizations
Arizona Department Of Education

Julie Ellis has been the Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) State Director for Arizona for the last 5 years and has been serving Arizona's students for the last 13 years. Julie started in business and industry but found that there was a need in her community for students to have better access to the refinement of workplace skills, employment opportunities, and overall character development. She saw this need and jumped in with both feet to the world of education – teaching Business and Marketing and eventually becoming the FBLA Adviser for her school and then the state. Julie’s journey as the FBLA State Adviser led her to becoming the CTSO State Director for Arizona – working with all six CTSOs in Arizona. Julie’s mission is reflected in her commitment to education – the world can only be better if we pour knowledge and invest our time into our future generations.
