Ingold, Timothy

CTE Instructor
Sierra Vista Unified School District #68

Timothy Ingold is the Film/TV teacher at Buena High School in Sierra Vista, AZ. He holds a bachelor's degree in Video Production and spent three years working as a contractor on Fort Huachuca, providing video production support for the Army's unmanned aircraft training regiment. In 2014 became the Film/TV teacher at Buena High School. In 2022, he earned his MFA in Digital Cinema to enable his high school students to earn college credit from his class. While he still enjoys producing content, Timothy's true passion is helping students grow and develop into the best versions of themselves. He strives to be a catalyst in their lives, pushing them forward toward success in any field they choose. Inspired by Dr. Anthony Muhammad's philosophy, he believes students should never be given the option to fail—it's the teacher's job to create an environment where learning is inevitable, or as Timothy puts it, to “trick them into learning.” For over a decade, Timothy has shared his love of filmmaking with students, inspiring them to explore their creativity and prepare for future success.
