Taking over an established classroom presents unique leadership and classroom management challenges as students adjust to new expectations and a new instructional leader. This session shares field-tested strategies from a teacher who successfully transitioned into an existing Veterinary Science program after a leadership change. Participants will learn practical approaches—including strategic seating, intentional student pairing, consistent follow-through, and trust-building techniques—to reclaim instructional time, reset classroom culture, and confidently lead when inheriting an established classroom.
