Mr. Ruiz, Reyes

Construction Technology Instructor
Peoria Unified School District #11

Hello, I am Reyes Ruiz. I've been teaching construction at Centennial High School in the Peoria Unified School district for nine years. Before that, I was a commercial and residential electrician. I graduated from Peoria High School and took the construction trades program there. Some of my accomplishments as a teacher are re-designing a large part of our curriculum that we offer the students, building relations with industry partners, and creating a capstone program for juniors and seniors. The capstone program offers an in-depth and more realistic construction class for students that are wanting to go into the construction industry by bridging the gap from high school to career.
