Most CTE advisory boards exist to satisfy compliance requirements. This workshop repositions advisory boards as task-oriented workforce think tanks that produce tangible, classroom-ready deliverables every year. Instead of asking, “Did we hold a meeting?” We ask, “What did our advisory board build for students this year?” Teachers will walk away with an outreach material, advisory handbook, agenda templates, and ideas on tasks their advisory can complete each year.
