Kayla Presley, the 2025 Gila Southern District Ag Teacher of the Year, teaches agriculture at Duncan High School in the rural community of Duncan, Arizona. She has nine years of experience in agricultural education, inspired by her upbringing on a farm and a lifelong passion for plant science. Presley brings extensive expertise in gardening and greenhouse management and currently operates two greenhouses on her school campus. Drawing on years of hands-on experience—including plenty of lessons learned—she aims to help others build confidence and avoid common pitfalls in greenhouse operation.
