Susan Leon works for West-MEC, the Career and Technical Education District over the West Valley of the greater Phoenix metro area. As the district's Work-Based Learning Instructional Specialist, her job directly supports instructors in making workplace connections for students. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) as the Division Vice President for New and Related Services. Susan instructed various classes in her teaching career, including Technology and Career Exploration, Business, Intro to Culinary Arts, and Internship. She managed a large Internship program across all CTE programs at the high school level. More recently, she has worked as an Instructional Specialist at West-MEC, supporting instructors in implementing the entire CTE Delivery Model.
