Joshua Nistas is beginning his tenth year in the 26-27 school year teaching Photography and Film at Flowing Wells High School. Prior to his career in education, he served six and a half years in the U.S. Navy as a photographer and videographer, followed by five years in the Navy Reserves. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona with a double major in Studio Photography and Art Education. With over 19 years of experience in photography and film, Joshua brings both industry and classroom expertise to the classroom and is passionate about helping educators inspire the next generation of visual storytellers.
