This engaging session explores instructional strategies that move cosmetology and aesthetics students beyond basic skill practice, toward real-world career readiness. Participants will learn how to integrate professionalism, client communication, workplace expectations, and industry-aligned skills into daily instruction. Designed for CTE educators, this session shares practical methods for bridging the gap between classroom training and employment, while helping students meet employer needs. Participants are encouraged to bring a current challenge to discuss with the group, including what’s working and what’s not.
