Director of Teacher Programs

Teresa Mungai is the Director of Teacher Programs for the Arizona Council on Economic Education. Prior to this position, Teresa has had many roles in education including serving as the K-12 Social Studies and Civics Specialist for the Arizona Department of Education, a school administrator, and a classroom teacher. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership and bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Northern Arizona University. Teresa serves as a member of the Arizona Service-Learning Alliance, the Arizona Civics Coalition, and is a board member for the Arizona Council for Social Studies and the Inspiring Courage Legacy Fund.

This workshop is best suited for middle and high school teachers with cross-disciplinary applications in math, personal finance, business, and economics.
