Teresa Mungai is the Director of Education Services and Impact for the Arizona Council on Economic Education. After working as a classroom teacher and school administrator for almost two decades, Teresa then served as the K-12 Social Studies and Civics Specialist for the Arizona Department of Education. She has a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Northern Arizona University. Teresa currently serves as a member of the National Association of Economic Educators and the Civic Education and Community Engagement Program and is a board member for the Arizona Council for Social Studies and the Inspiring Courage Legacy Fund.
