Donald McFarlane is the Service Tech/Design Engineer for PBC Linear. He has been working in the manufacturing industry for 35 years. Don served in the Navy during Desert Storm as the Aircrew Survival Equipmentman. He has since earned Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering. Don is Co-Chair for the SkillsUSA-Arizona Additive Manufacturing Contest and Represents PBC Linear as a Sponsor for the Arizona Event.

This hands-on session will focus on the repair and maintenance of 3-D printers. Participants will work on 3-D printers with malfunctions and will troubleshoot and repair them. The participants will also learn important tips for maintenance of the printer as well as proper storage for the filament for the best production of parts. Participants will receive a Repair and Maintenance Toolbox to use and take to school.
