Sessions of 2025 Summer Conference: Andrea Haser

Haser, Andrea
CTE Curriculum and Instructional Specialist
Dysart Unified School District
With over 15 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and current CTE Curriculum and Instructional Specialist for the Dysart Unified School District, I am dedicated to partnering with teachers as they share their passion with students. During my time as a CTE teacher for Education Professions, I discovered the absolute privilege and responsibility of introducing students to a profession I so deeply believe in and the opportunities available to students through CTE programs. In my current role, I get the chance to see other teachers’ passion in action and support effective teaching and learning strategies in the classroom. I live in Surprise, AZ with my husband, two school-aged kids, and three cats.

Every educator faces challenges in the classroom that can be difficult to navigate. In this session, participants will engage in a structured protocol aimed at generating ideas, exploring potential solutions, and gaining new perspectives on addressing persistent teaching concerns that fall within a teacher's locus of control. Participants will also receive guidance on how to implement this strategy in their classrooms, empowering students to provide constructive feedback to their peers. This session is designed to support all levels of educators and programs.
