  • School Counseling

Calling home to discuss classroom concerns with parents/guardians is something most instructors and school staff don’t enjoy. In this session we will discuss the importance of building relationships with parents/guardians as a proactive step, concrete strategies for doing this effectively, and a gameplan to utilize when making those difficult calls. Participants will leave the session with specific ideas and vocabulary they can implement immediately. This session is open to all CTE teachers, directors, and counselors.
