Anna Lawrie is an experienced educator who has spent 11 years teaching at Desert View High School in South Tucson, including 9 years specializing in Agricultural Education. Before entering the classroom, she built a foundation in the horticulture industry, working in plant nurseries and establishing herself as a small-scale freelance landscape designer with a focus on container gardening. An alumna of the University of Arizona, she completed undergraduate studies in Theatre and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, later earning a Master’s in Education with a Biology emphasis in 2015. Passionate about the natural world, Anna enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending her free time hiking.
