My name is Scott Kaczynski and before becoming a CTE instructor in Animation at Shadow Ridge HS, I was a Media Producer at a local firm creating graphics, animations and managing large projects for almost twenty years. I woke up one day and decided I wanted to give back to my community, went back to school, and became a high school teacher. There was no Animation program at Shadow Ridge HS when I started fourteen years ago. There also wasn't any set curriculum for this program within the district. So I just sat down and wrote it all and a portion of that is what I bring to you today. My program has achieved five State Championships and one National Championship within the SkillsUSA organization.
