Laser Specialist

Brad studied as a Weld Engineer at Weber State University, graduating in 2006 when he began his career with Miller Electric Mfg Llc. He started his career with Miller as a Weld Engineer, developing the Dynasty, Syncrowave, and Millermatic machines. He also spent time in the robotic applications division, working primarily with automotive manufacturers on application development. Brad left Miller Electric for two years to work for Lockheed Martin in their Missiles and Fire Control division as the Sr. Weld Engineer. His primary focus during this time was the missile pallet for the THAAD missile system. He then returned to ITW Welding as an Industrial District Manager in Arizona and has recently become the Laser Specialist for Miller Electric, covering HI, SoCal, AZ, NM and parts of TX. Brad likes to spend as much time with family as possible, firearm training, welding art, and classic truck restoration.

An overview of the free educational resources available to Instructors. This includes a free educational resource called Open Book, which provides Instructors with presentations, quizzes, and lab assignments in the form of a Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) as curriculum supplements for their welding programs. Updates on technological advancements in the welding industry. This will focus primarily on the recent and upcoming popularity of Co-Bots and hand held lasers.
