Rod Murphy has been with DEPCO Enterprises for 26 years and is currently the President of this CTE based business. Prior to coming to DEPCO, Rod spend 10 years as a Technology Education instructor in Kansas. He has presented at numerous local, state, and national educational events covering a broad range of CTE topics and content.

Whether students have completed a job shadow program or are in the introductory stages of determining whether a career in healthcare is right for them, virtual patient simulation can be an invaluable learning experience. In this session, we will discuss the advantages of the Body Interact virtual patient simulation system; methods of incorporating simulation into educational courses; and discuss curriculum and assessments that can be combined with virtual patient simulation.
