Oleg Shvets has led various workforce projects at the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity and the Arizona Commerce Authority since May, 2019. In his current role as Communications and Workforce Program Manager, he helps facilitate all agency communications, marketing, and brand management while also developing and leading Statewide Workforce Training Initiatives with OEO's Community College and CTE Partners. Prior to joining OEO, Oleg worked at the Arizona Department of Education for 17 years as the State Director for Arizona DECA and briefly taught Marketing at his high school alma matter in Cleveland, Ohio.

This panel discussion will provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of aligning education programs with the rapidly evolving needs of Arizona’s advanced manufacturing and semiconductor sectors. Oleg Shvets from OEO will present Arizona's big picture and the ReadyTechGo Initiative. CTE leaders Joshua Fields from Sahuarita and Lindsay Duran from Chandler Unified will share insights on launching semiconductor programs, including benefits, challenges, and next steps. West-MEC will highlight its current and new Advanced Manufacturing programs and industry partnerships.
