Vanessa Burry, Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation, ElevateEdAZ District Director – Vanessa Burry has over 20 years of experience in developing and managing community and industry partnerships, particularly in healthcare and education. After serving fifteen years in the allied healthcare industry in facility management, state and federal contracts, operations, and patient care, she transitioned to the education sector, spending the last seven years in Career and Technical Education (CTE). Through her work in CTE, she has implemented Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs in five high schools and two post-secondary institutions, increasing career exploration and experiential industry aligned learning opportunities for over 4,000 students . Currently, as an ElevateEdAZ District Director, she cultivates collaborative relationships between her two partner school districts and ElevateEdAZ to ensure a stronger alignment between education, business, and the community.
