Sessions of 2025 Summer Conference: Sabrina Conway

Conway, Sabrina
Nursing Instructor
VACTE
With 15 years in the medical field, Sabrina Conway moved into the CTE realm 3 years ago to serve as the CNA instructor at Valley Academy for Career and Technology Education (VACTE). She currently sits on the Board of Directors for HOSA and AZHCEA as the Northern Regional Representative. With the help of her district, she has learned the importance of working in and around her rural communities. With not a lot of opportunities for community service fundraising, she decided to get creative with what she has available. Sabrina understands what it means to have those industry partners and how important they are to help with student success. Teamwork is a must-have phrase in her vocabulary because sometimes, although small but mighty, you cannot do it alone. Being the only one has it's disadvantages, but branching out and working with what you have becomes imperative to the survival of districts, programs and CTSOs.
