Barbara Milner has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education and Care for over 30 years. Her roles have included classroom teacher, child care center director, and project manager. A consultant since 2022, she’s consulted in statewide professional development programs, coordinated coaching for quality improvement projects and facilitated leadership/team development efforts. Her experience also includes national and international work, including traveling to over twenty Air Force Bases in Japan, Germany, South Korea, Azores Islands and across the United States, providing consulting and professional development support. Her international experience includes working with NAEYC’s Global Engagement Division between 2016 through 2021, to facilitate leadership training and supporting the development of Early Childhood Education Standards, Guidelines and Curriculum Framework in Saudi Arabia. Currently, she is working with Central Arizona college, as the Director of Early Childhood Initiatives.
