Megan Mills serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Strategic Partnerships & Government Relations at West‑MEC, a premier career and technical education (CTE) district in Arizona. With a 20-year career spanning economic development, government relations, community engagement, education, and communications, she brings a unique blend of public and private sector expertise—helping bridge the gap between education and the evolving needs of the workforce. Known for her ability to unite stakeholders and deliver tangible results, Megan excels at fostering collaboration around shared visions. She plays a pivotal role in expanding West‑MEC’s regional impact, including leading an initiative involving nearly 400 partners to increase student access to internships, job placements, and dual enrollment opportunities. Her commitment to public service is demonstrated by six years on a local school governing board, where she guided policy, budget decisions, and strategic planning. Megan’s extensive government relations experience further strengthens her effectiveness in advocating for education and workforce development priorities at both local and state levels. She also represents West‑MEC as their lobbyist at the State Capitol. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and is certified in Public Participation—credentials that underpin her strengths in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and partnership development.
