Dr. Raisor, Jeremy

Northland Pioneer College

Jeremy has broad experience working across higher education in many capacities, including as College Registrar, Director of Financial Aid, Director of Enrollment Services, Dean of CTE, and Interim VP of Student Affairs. He has taught business and economics as an adjunct faculty member for many years. Jeremy earned an MBA from Utah State University, a master’s in strategic management, and a Ph.D. in leadership from the University of the Cumberlands. He has served as an HLC accreditation peer reviewer for five years and is passionate about helping low- income and first-generation students improve their lives.

A broad overview of how Northland Pioneer College identified community needs to create in- demand programs, including personal training and rehabilitation, criminal justice, behavioral health, CDL, broadband technician, alternative energy, HVAC, flooring installation, and site- built home construction. The session highlights the importance of working closely with local, regional, and state partners to leverage data and build upon workforce and economic development efforts. The session ends with an open floor for participating institutions to share their lessons learned from across the state.
