Learn how to partner for early engagement in pre-employment transition activities like job exploration counseling and fostering self-advocacy skills to complement school provided activities. Learn about some of the partners available that can provide pathways and resources to develop a student’s skills in career development areas like advocating for their needs, understanding the demands of various job environments, evaluating educational institutions and opportunities, and help students understand their unique strengths. Discuss how an interagency approach can affect the outcomes of students with disabilities in Career and Technical Education.
